The restoration of this 1970 Dodge Charger began after it spent 15 years sitting dormant on cinder blocks. The project started with a complete teardown of the dashboard, which involved ripping out the original, corroded wiring to make way for a modern electrical system. A major focus was placed on the HVAC system; the heater core was rebuilt, and both the evaporator and condenser were pressure-tested and renewed to ensure a leak-free cabin. Once the internals were sealed, the period-correct vents and blower motor transitions were meticulously reconnected.
The dashboard itself was overhauled with a brand-new wiring harness, fresh relays, and updated lighting. Every component was repaired to perfect working order, from the primary gauges down to the original analog clock. While waiting for interior parts to arrive, the engine was pulled for a full refresh. This gave us the opportunity to perform a complete engine bay overhaul, finished in a stunning color-matched paint. The exterior presented its own set of challenges, specifically a roof that was heavily rusted and pitted. After hundreds of hours spent sanding and reshaping the metal, it was finally prepped for a new, era-appropriate vinyl top. To round out the mechanical restoration, several other key components were replaced, including the transmission, the rear-end differential, and a fresh set of period-correct wheels.

Head Turns and Thumbs Up
This part by far took the longest to assemble. Every Single wire under there was replaced and tested. Making sure everything works properly was beyond tedious as the littlest of things such as speific clamps held back progress for months.
Besides the Dashboard, the roof took an increidble amount of time to complete. The holes needed to be filled and the roughness needed to be sanded down and then resanded time and time again after bodywork to ensure smoothness.
