The 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu served as an incredibly solid foundation for this project, offering that classic A-body silhouette that enthusiasts dream of. To bring the vintage machine back to life, the initial focus was on the engine’s breathing; the original carburetor underwent a meticulous rebuild to ensure the fuel-to-air ratio was perfect, finally allowing the small-block to fire up with a reliable turn of the key. Once the engine was humming, the priority shifted toward modernizing the car’s handling and safety for today's roads.
A comprehensive hydro-boosted brake conversion was installed, providing immense stopping power that far exceeds the original factory equipment. When paired with a complete power steering system and vacuum-assisted power brakes, the Chevelle was transformed from a garage relic into a truly road-worthy cruiser that handles with contemporary ease. To match the mechanical upgrades, the exterior received a deep paint correction, with the aged finish being buffed and polished until it achieved a deep, pleasant shine that catches the sunlight beautifully. Finally, the transformation was rounded out inside the cabin with a full seat reupholstery, replacing the worn out vinyl.

Safety was a big factor so the original drum brake setup wouldn't cut it. The 4 wheel disc brakes were installed through a hydroboost system that also provides power brakes.
